Wordle Solver

Every guess filters a list of 5,757 five-letter words. A green letter must be in that spot, a yellow letter is in the word but somewhere else, and a gray letter doesn't appear, or appears no more often than its green and yellow copies.

The remaining words are ranked by how common their letters are among the words still possible, so the top pick tells you the most about the answer. When you're stuck on a pattern like _ATCH with several letters that could fill the gap, the solver suggests a word that tests several of those letters at once, even though it can't be the answer itself.
